Happy Hen Farm's Fresh Eggs

Picture
Picture
Happy Hen Farm's fresh eggs are from heritage breed laying hens that we raise completely on pasture.  We supplement the grass, plants, and bugs that they consume naturally with a soy-free, locally milled feed that is rich in omega 6 proteins.  These multi-color eggs are as delicious and nutritious as they are beautiful.

We raise a diverse flock of heritage breed chickens including many breeds that are on the Livestock Conservancy's Conservation Priority List, such as our beautiful Dominiques, Australorps, Sussexes, and Brahmas (with their fancy feathered feet), to name a few.  These heritage breeds were not bred to live indoors like many of those that provide eggs in grocery stores today, but are, instead, perfectly suited to being outdoors on pasture and enjoying all of nature's chicken splendors.
